I was as shocked as any other respectable Canadian when I saw the reports about the illegal bureaucratic swarming against the rural Ontario Jaworski family.

Oh, wait a second. It wasn’t illegal. The kind of behaviour that makes bureaucrats indistinguishable from mob enforcers is increasingly legal in Ontario… and this country.

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli II raised the ire of abortionists this week when he issued a ruling – requested by two state agencies – that gave the Board of Health jurisdiction over abortion clinics. Abortion clinics in 27 states have basic regulations that protect women’s health.

About 50 observers — mostly male — sat in brilliant sunshine in St. George’s Square Saturday afternoon and waited for the event to begin.
