Christian Heritage Nonsense
By Jim Hnatiuk, Leader of the Christian Heritage Party
Have you ever experienced attempts to belittle you, either overtly or by a subtle roll of the eyes, because you choose to support the Christian Heritage Party of Canada? I have certainly experienced this and oftentimes wished I had a short, sweet, and effective answer to these pathetic attempts to dissuade me from my beliefs and deter me from my goals.
Even political enemies should show respect for the dead. That respect, however, needn’t result in an inappropriate exaltation of one who damaged the world as much as Norman Bethune did. Many of us have made mistakes in our lives; we have said and done things we later wish we could unsay or undo. I don’t know whether Norman Bethune ever gained enough understanding of the world to regret helping Mao Tse-Tung conquer China and unleash the slaughter of 60 million Chinese. But I regret that a Canadian should have been a supporter of that slaughter.
Excerpt from “A Biblical View of Private Property”…
Since the family is the primary institution whereby the Dominion Covenant is to be extended, laws were given to protect the property of families. The Jubilee laws of Leviticus 25 insured a family that it would always have land so that dominion could be exercised. Property could not be taxed. Even the father could not dispossess his family from the land because of carelessness, poor stewardship, or debt. Fathers were instructed to lay up an inheritance for their children so that the work of dominion under God could continue.

The Power of Giving a Book
By Joel McDurmon
It all started with one book. When Bojidar’s missionary pastor left his Bulgarian town, all he left behind was a couple audio tapes and a copy of one book, Ken Gentry’s He Shall Have Dominion. Ken’s book is still, perhaps, the best one-stop exposition of the postmillennial, optimistic, dominion-oriented biblical worldview available. It has changed many lives, including Bojidar’s. After this, he wanted to hear more about optimism and biblical law.

Editorial: Who’s the real bigot?
Glen Murray, the former mayor of Winnipeg who now serves as Research and Innovation Minister in Ontario’s provincial Liberal government, has claimed in the past that, as a gay man, he has suffered the pain and humiliation of discrimination. If that is true – and we have no reason to doubt it – then he, above all people, should know to refrain from prejudging others and making unsubstantiated allegations of bigotry against them.

Minister sorry for Harper bigot tweet
By Allison Jones, The Canadian Press
TORONTO – An Ontario cabinet minister was forced to apologize Tuesday for a tweet accusing the prime minister, Ontario’s Opposition leader and Toronto’s new mayor of being bigots. But provincial Opposition Leader Tim Hudak said the wording of the apology made the situation even worse and called for the premier to fire the minister.
Check out the quote 3 paragraphs down. This guy’s scientism sounds eerily similar to some of the atheistic comments posted recently on our site. Every indication is that most atheists want to see a revival of National Socialism and the vision which enamoured Hitler decades ago. And as the last paragraph reminds us, Biblical Christianity is the only religion of genuine peace. Don’t be intimidated by the relenting fraud and deception from atheist guerrilla warriors who attempt to wear us out and demoralize us through unrelenting repetition of lies and sophistry. Pray that, just as we were, these atheists will be liberated from their bondage to ignorance and cruelty by the blood of Christ shed for His people to pay the penalty for our sins so as to reconcile us to God.
And another important quote for Christians:
“When principles that run against your deepest convictions begin to win the day, then battle is your call and peace is your sin.” – Abraham Kuyper

Capitalism Saved the Miners!
By Gary DeMar
Of course, leftists will argue that there wouldn’t have been any need for mines if we were all communists, since the miners would never have been trapped deep in the earth in the first place. It was greedy capitalists that opened the mine. These anti-capitalists probably sent their anti-capitalist message to their commie comrades on smart phones developed by other capitalist companies that use copper from the Chilean mine.[1]
