An Adequate Deterrent
By Jim Hnatiuk, Leader of the Christian Heritage Party

It’s difficult to imagine that any sane, or insane person for that matter, could systematically bomb, stalk, shoot and kill 93 people, most of which were teenagers at a summer camp. Christian Heritage Nonsense
By Jim Hnatiuk, Leader of the Christian Heritage Party

Have you ever experienced attempts to belittle you, either overtly or by a subtle roll of the eyes, because you choose to support the Christian Heritage Party of Canada? I have certainly experienced this and oftentimes wished I had a short, sweet, and effective answer to these pathetic attempts to dissuade me from my beliefs and deter me from my goals.

Justin Trottier, national executive director of the Centre for Inquiry, had a column published in Monday’s Ottawa Citizen, arguing for the value of atheists being welcomed as participants in religious debates. ChristianGovernance submitted a column to the Ottawa Citizen in response to Mr. Trottier’s piece. We haven’t heard yet whether it’s been accepted for publication, so we are posting it ourselves.

“Welcome to Canada”
By Harold J. Ludwig, BC President of CHP Canada

Last week another (yes, there was an earlier one last year) boatload of “refugees” arrived from Sri Lanka on the west coast of Canada.
