Teacher showed him guns, gay porn, man says: 43-year-old recalls ’80s incidents

Former Riverside high school teacher John William Gibson showed a student where he hid his collection of gay male pornography, directing the teen to get rid of it if anything ever happened to him, Gibson’s sexual assault trial heard Friday. “If you ever tell anybody …” Gibson then said, leaving that sentence hanging as he proceeded to show the teen two handguns he kept in a box lined with red cloth, court was told. The alleged incident occurred on a Sunday in the spring of 1986. Gibson got the teen drunk then performed oral sex on him. The teen, now a 43-year-old man, spent a fifth day on the witness stand Friday detailing alleged sex acts that occurred on six occasions between 1984 and 1986.

Gibson, 68, is on trial, charged with sexually assaulting two former male students. ..
