The guilty conscience, homosexuality, Humanism and abortion

From ChristianGovernance eletter, Sept. 8, 2012:

The human conscience is real, a gift from God to warn us away from sin and to draw us to God in Christ for repentance. When you don’t turn to Christ for forgiveness, the conscience becomes one’s tormentor unless you harden and sear it. Sadly, this woman committed suicide over (same-sex) sexual guilt instead of finding forgiveness in Christ. Unfortunately, homosexualists with seared consciences will make matters worse for more people by blaming criticism of homosexuality, rather than real sin and guilt, for this woman’s suffering.

Rejection of guilt over sexual sin is rooted in the West’s Humanist revolution. Near the end of a recent obituary about a committed Humanist abortion activist, we read: “‘… The sexual therapy he did with couples at McMaster involved the idea that religion in general and Christianity specifically were detrimental to people’s health because of guilt,’ said Walt Michalsky, a former high-school English teacher who became a close friend through the Humanist Movement.” The homosexualist movement is deeply religious, rooted in Humanism.

Another Humanist (besides Henry Morgentaler) links baby killing with hatred of God. (This is the same story linked to immediately above.)
