Letter: If prostitution is unsafe, then look for honest work

Regarding the Ontario Superior Court prostitution ruling:

It is becoming embarrassingly obvious that most of our judges, lawyers and government officials have been educated beyond their own intelligence. Indeed, one wonders if they are not all part of an organized crime unit.

Does Ontario judge Himel want these Nigerian sex slaves?

Experts note that legal prostitution fuels sex slavery or human trafficking. Ontario Superior Court judge Susan Himel threw out Canada’s prostitution related laws this week. Does she support sex slavery like that in Nigeria as reported in this article? If her decision was allowed to stand, it would turn Canada into a sewer for women.

Feds to appeal prostitution ruling

OTTAWA – The federal government will appeal an Ontario court judgment that struck down Canada’s prostitution laws. Justice Minister Rob Nicholson announced in the House of Commons today that the government will challenge Tuesday’s ruling that the laws are unconstitutional.
