ChristianGovernance e-letter – November 20, 2010
God’s law in brief

I am going to return to Galatians chapter 6 for a brief comment on verse 1.

This is what it says: “Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in a sin, you who live by the spirit should restore that person gently. But watch yourself, or you also may be tempted.”

ChristianGovernance upcoming events

ChristianGovernance has two very important upcoming events in the new year. We have already sent out a press release about our “Titanic 2011-Women and Children First” banquet. Ticket will go on sale soon once we have secured our venue. We are very excited to be bringing Kevin Swanson to Ottawa as our feature speaker on Biblical manhood and Biblical womanhood, and we are thrilled to be able to welcome concert pianist Calvin Jones to our event as well.

We need more men in Canada

ChristianGovernance e-letter – November 11, 2010

We need more men in Canada

We live in a hyper-feminized culture where masculinity is mocked, caricatured and condemned. Many men go along with it – and others are simply lost and confused. We read about young women being more purpose-driven and focused than men, aimless men staying home with parents into their late twenties and thirties, and the sexual confusion of homosexuality and what today is called “transgendered.”

From the Oct. 23rd ChristianGovernance Report e-letter…

God’s law in brief

Our main article is very long this time, so I just want to leave you with a brief consideration here.

One of the worst sins in our day is to use “stereotypes” or generalizations whereby you lump everyone together based on a particular characteristic, especially if you do so on the basis of certain criteria: “all women are like this…” or “that’s just the way East Indians think.”

ChristianGovernance – A new standard for Christian reformation

ChristianGovernance was in Orillia and Toronto this past Saturday. Tim Bloedow talked about the necessity of having a worldview. Actually, that’s not quite true. It’s not a matter of necessity, it’s simply a matter of what is: all people have a worldview. The issue is whether you possess your worldview by DESIGN or by DEFAULT. Tim pointed out that those who DO NOT know what they believe and why over against what they do not believe and why will always be led by those who do. In other words, a leader possesses his worldview by design.
